About Us

The Virgin Islands National Guard Association, Inc. was incorporated on August 6, 2008. The purpose of the association is to promote the growth and development of the Virgin Islands National Guard, foster friendship and cooperation among officers of the National Guard and provide services for its members and dependents.

Additionally, VINGA is a member of the National Guard Executive Directors Association, which provides a forum for exchange of timely information of common interest for the mutual benefits of members and organizations they represent; encourages and assists, when feasible, each state, commonwealth, territory and the District of Columbia to organize and maintain a National Guard Association; and participates in improving the operational readiness, training and image of the National Guard on both state and national levels.
